So recently I have been looking into getting healthier and different ways to de-stress from the kids after they go to bed. Also looking for ways to get rid of my migraines without taking a ton of medications. A super good friend of mine told me I should look into essential oils. This was probably about a year ago. Of course, just like everyone out there that hasn't tried them I was like "sure, OK, I know those aren't going to work!!" Well, then one day my son woke up with pinkeye. I didn't want to take him to the doctor because it was really gross looking and I didn't want to infect anyone else.
So my super good friend gave me a sample of Lavender. I applied it around the eye (not in the eye) just like she told me to, and within a few hours, I saw a huge improvement. No, it wasn't gone in a few hours. It still took a few days to have the grossness go away, but he wasn't messing with it any longer. Not only was he getting better, he was sleeping better at night! Go figure, lavender the natural relaxation flower, he is getting sleep (he's 2). Then I got really sick, nasty cough and a severe sore throat (no it wasn't strep). My super awesome friend, again came to my rescue. She gave me a magic concoction she called "sick". I applied it like she told me too, and before long the cough was going away and my sore throat was so much better! I applied it more at night because it smells amazing!! And at night that is when I would cough the most.
She then invited me to an online class. Again, I was learning more and more about these oils and what they could do. So I started to debate about getting involved with Young Living. The more I was talking with her, the more I was becoming convinced that this is the product that I need to invest in. So I started saving my pennies and saving my nickles.
Just this last week, I took the proverbial dive into the oils world of oils. I received my kit yesterday, and already started using my diffuser. Lavender and Stress away were the first things that I diffused. My kids were alot calmer and stopped yelling at eachother and I was feeling better as well. Right now I am diffusing, Lemon and purification, smells amazing!!
No I am not trying to sell you anything at all, if you want to buy I have the links posted at the bottom, I am just telling you that I was a skeptic, but now I am a believer that oils do in fact work.
This is my diffuser (last night). It is pumping out Lavender and Stress Away! Kids calmed down, and this momma was less stressed. We had a nice dinner without all the fighting. The kids actually ate dinner without yelling at each other about something silly.
